Students at Maury Elementary are making a difference and working to preserve the earth!
Maury launched its recycling program on December 9, 2014. During lunch students finish their meals and dispose of their trash by placing it in its appropriate container. Students dispose of their milk and juice in buckets. They place their empty milk cartons, utensils and other plastic items in the waste container. They place all food in the compose container and lastly place their trays on a cart to be recycled.
Maury’s students have demonstrated such great interest in recycling, we will be launching our first recycling club in a few weeks.
