Kaylee Mina joined Maury in 2021 as the Music teacher.
Ms. Mina grew up on Long Island, New York and in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She considers herself to be an East Coast native. She received her Bachelor of Music in General and Instrumental Music Education from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
She is passionate about teaching students to utilize music to express themselves, and to find connection and joy. Ms. Mina enjoys sharing her passion for music and getting the school’s toes tapping.
Outside of school, Ms. Mina enjoys baking, hiking, board games, and travel. Ms. Mina spends much of her free time as a volunteer leader of a local musical theater program.
