My passion is working closely with my students and their families to create a meaningful learning experience for each student. I love to watch my students grow throughout the year and strengthen their confidence in themselves and their learning.
I grew up in Long Island, New York. I attended Binghamton University, where I received a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology. I then attended NYU and received my MA in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education. Since receiving my masters, I have taught for 6 years in Jackson Heights, Queens. I have been a special education teacher and Pre-K teacher and in the recent years a Kindergarten teacher. This will be my first year with DCPS and I am so excited to be part of the Maury community!
