Lindsay Bowers, Interventionist (English Learners and Math)

Lindsay Bowers started her educational journey at James Madison University where she earned a Masters in Arts of Education from James Madison University. She continued her education a couple years later while teaching and received an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. Ms. Bowers has been in education for 8 years, teaching 5 years in Fairfax County and has been at Maury Elementary for the last three years. Ms. Bowers ran summer school programs and launched a math enrichment program at her school in Fairfax County. Since joining Maury, she joined the Academic Leadership Team (ALT) and enjoys serving on a number of different committees throughout the school year. In her free time, Ms. Bowers enjoys taking weekend road trips, hanging out with her family and dog, and exploring the city on long runs.
